wenglor sensoric is a German sensor manufacturer founded in 1983 by Dieter Baur in Tettnang on Lake Constance. The family-owned group, now run by the founder's sons, has grown into an international supplier of sensor and machine vision technology for industrial automation with more than 1,000 employees.
The portfolio includes photoelectronic sensors, among them red-light devices with background suppression, a technique wenglor helped establish, as well as inductive and ultrasonic sensors, code readers, and image processing products such as smart cameras and 2D/3D vision systems.
