About Schleicher

Schleicher Electronic is a German automation company based in Berlin, founded in 1937 by Otto Schleicher as the relay manufacturer Schleicher Relais Werke. In 1958 it presented the MZ 54, regarded as the first multifunctional time-delay relay, and over the decades the company expanded from electromechanical relays into electronic control systems and functional safety engineering.

Its portfolio includes timer relays, safety relays, and monitoring relays built to recognized international standards, together with modular control technology: the XCx series of rack-based controllers, available as PLC or combined PLC/CNC systems in versions such as the XCx 400, XCx 800, and XCx 1200, and ProNumeric machine controllers with EtherCAT networking for multi-axis motion applications.

Schleicher products are typically used in machine building, plant automation, and safety-related control applications.
