About KROMSCHRODER
Kromschröder is a German manufacturer of gas combustion controls based in Osnabrück, where the company was founded in 1899 as a maker of gas meters and gas fittings. From the 1920s and 1930s the range expanded into combustion equipment and gas safety devices. The business later became part of Elster Group, which was acquired by Honeywell International in 2015; products are today marketed under the Honeywell Kromschröder name.
The portfolio covers components for industrial gas combustion, including solenoid valves for gas such as the VAS, VCS and VG series, VK double solenoid valves for class A safety shutoff, burner control units such as the BCU series, automatic burner control units including the IFD range, and butterfly valves and related gas train components.
Typical applications include industrial furnaces, thermoprocessing equipment and commercial combustion installations.
