About KRIWAN
KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik GmbH is a German manufacturer of electronic protection and condition monitoring devices, founded in 1968 by engineer Friedrich Kriwan and based in Forchtenberg, Baden-Württemberg. The company specializes in protecting electric motors and machines such as refrigeration compressors against overload.
Its best-known product is the INT69 motor protection relay, introduced in the 1970s and fitted as original equipment in compressors from major refrigeration manufacturers. Modern INT69 generations are microprocessor-based and, since 2010, include diagnostic functions that store fault data and can transmit it for centralized evaluation. The wider range covers motor protection relays and condition monitoring products for industrial machinery.
