About KOMATSU
Komatsu Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer of construction, mining and forestry equipment, founded in 1921 by Meitaro Takeuchi in the city of Komatsu, Ishikawa Prefecture, from which it takes its name. Alongside heavy machinery, the group also produces diesel engines and industrial equipment, and ranks among the largest construction equipment makers in the world.
Its product range includes hydraulic excavators in the PC series, crawler dozers in the D series, wheel loaders in the WA series, and off-highway dump trucks in the rigid HD and articulated HM series.
