About HAGGLUNDS
Hägglunds is a Swedish brand of hydraulic direct drive systems, engineered and manufactured in Mellansel in northern Sweden. The brand traces its origins to the industrial group Hägglund & Söner and has been part of Germany's Bosch Rexroth since the late 2000s; following a 2022 rebranding, Bosch Rexroth continues to develop and market the drives under the Hägglunds name.
The core products are large radial piston hydraulic motors — including the CA, CB, and CBm series — which mount directly on the driven shaft and deliver very high torque at low speed without a gearbox. The CBm series, launched in 2012, extends specific torque up to 6,000 Nm/bar. Complete drive systems combine these motors with freely placed drive units and control electronics.
Hägglunds drives are used in heavy industrial, marine, and mobile applications where high torque, controllability, and overload tolerance are required.
