About GAMAK
GAMAK is a Turkish electric motor manufacturer founded in 1961 to supply the country's industry with domestically produced motors, and it ranks among Turkey's established producers of low-voltage machines. The company expanded its cast iron motor production in the 1960s, opened a production facility in Dudullu near Istanbul in 1980 and established its own test laboratory in 1994.
The core range consists of three-phase asynchronous motors with aluminium housings, sold as the AGM series, and cast iron housings, sold as the GM series. Motors are offered in efficiency classes up to IE3 and IE4 in accordance with IEC standards, with cage rotor designs and protection ratings from IP55 up to IP66 for harsh environments.
GAMAK motors are typically used to drive pumps, fans, compressors and general industrial machinery.
