About DIETZ MOTOREN
Dietz-motoren is a German manufacturer of electric motors and fans based in Dettingen unter Teck. The company was founded in 1922 by master mechanic Adolf Dietz and began producing electric motors and blowers in 1926. It remains a family-run business, now in its third generation, with a workforce of around 270 employees.
The product program covers electric motors, generators and radial fans, together with the associated control electronics. A significant share of production consists of customer-specific motor and fan designs engineered for particular machine-building requirements rather than purely catalog goods.
Dietz drives and fans are used across mechanical engineering, including textile machinery - the company is a corporate member of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation - as well as air-handling and other industrial equipment.
