About DEUBLIN
DEUBLIN is an American manufacturer of rotary unions, founded in 1945 by Luke Deubler and Dick Linn, whose combined surnames gave the company its name. Its first product was a rotary union with balanced mechanical seals, an improvement over the pressure-type seals common at the time. Headquartered in Waukegan, Illinois, the company remained family-owned until its acquisition by the Swiss-based Hoerbiger Group in 2019.
Deublin produces rotary unions for coolant, water, steam, air, hydraulic oil and other media, along with electrical slip rings. Recognized technologies include Pop-Off seal designs and AutoSense unions for machine tool spindles, which handle through-spindle coolant at high rotational speeds and pressures.
Typical applications include machine tools, printing presses, plastics machinery, steel continuous casting, paper machines and wind energy equipment.
