Dart Controls is a US manufacturer of motor speed controls founded in 1963 and based in Zionsville, Indiana, where it designs and builds its products. The company specializes in variable speed drives and accessories for AC, DC and brushless DC motors, and was an early adopter of microprocessor technology inside DC controls. It has shipped more than two million variable speed drives from its Indiana facility.
The product range includes analog SCR DC drives such as the compact 15 Series for fractional-horsepower OEM applications, the MD Series digital DC drives (including the MD10 and MD3) with programmable digital displays and closed-loop feedback, along with digital speed potentiometers, brushless DC controls and matching accessories.
