About COSEL

COSEL Co., Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturer of standard switching power supplies, founded in July 1969 in Toyama City under the name ELCO Co., Ltd. and renamed Cosel in 1992, the name being derived from the words component and selection. The company released its first standardized switching power supply in 1978 and today maintains sales offices in Japan, Asia, Europe and North America.

Its catalog is organized into three main groups: AC-DC power supplies, DC-DC converters and EMI noise filters for mains and DC lines. Units are offered in a wide variety of form factors, including open-frame and open-card designs, DIN-rail mounting versions and potted modules for PCB mounting.

Cosel power supplies and filters are used in industrial electronics and equipment that requires reliable regulated DC power and effective suppression of electrical noise.
