Brevetti Stendalto S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of cable carrier chains headquartered in Monza, near Milan. The company, established by Giovanni Mauri, introduced the world's first nylon cable chain in 1968, offering a lighter and more economical alternative to the steel chains then in common use. All production remains based in Italy.
The range covers nylon and steel cable chains in numerous sizes, including heavy-duty series for machine tools and large SR-type chains such as the SR 318 used for long-travel crane applications. Brevetti Stendalto also supplies flexible cables, pre-assembled 'total chain' systems delivered complete with cables and connectors, sheaths, and fittings; steel chains are produced in zinc-plated or stainless versions.
