About ACE
ACE is a manufacturer of industrial damping technology that originated in the United States, where ACE Controls Inc. was founded in 1963 in the Detroit, Michigan area and patented an adjustable industrial shock absorber in 1964. The German subsidiary ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH, established in 1978 in Langenfeld, handles international marketing and sales, and the group has been part of Stabilus since 2016.
The product portfolio includes industrial shock absorbers such as the MC miniature series introduced in the 1980s, gas springs, hydraulic dampers and speed control devices, vibration isolation products and safety shock absorbers.
ACE components are used in automation, robotics, automotive production, material handling, packaging, machine tools and amusement equipment, among other fields.
