Migration notes
GE's official Product Discontinuance Bulletin (August 1, 2017) moved the Series 90-30 to Discontinued status on January 1, 2018 with last-time-buy orders through September 30, 2017 and about 7 years of repair/exchange after; the RX3i universal backplane accepts most 90-30 I/O modules, so CPU+rack swaps without rewiring are the standard modernization play.
