LAPP is a German cable and connection technology company founded in 1959 by Oskar Lapp in Stuttgart, where it is still headquartered, and it remains family-owned today. Its ÖLFLEX cable, introduced in 1959, was the first control cable with color-coded cores and is regarded as the first branded cable in the world.
