About BINDER

Franz Binder GmbH & Co. Elektrische Bauelemente KG, known in the industrial market simply as binder, is a family-owned German connector manufacturer headquartered in Neckarsulm, Baden-Württemberg. Founded in 1960 by Franz Binder as a workshop for mechanics and turned parts, the company began producing circular connectors in 1968 and has grown into one of the leading specialists in this field, with distribution partners on several continents.

The product range centers on circular connectors for sensor and actuator cabling, automation technology, and medical equipment. Industrial buyers will recognize the M8, M12, and M16 connector families, including the widely used A-coded M12 series 713 and 763, offered as field-attachable connectors, overmolded cable assemblies, and panel-mount versions, many rated to IP67 when mated.

Typical applications include factory automation, sensor and measurement systems, LED lighting, and medical devices.
